Albignasego Calcio was an Italian football club located in Albignasego, Veneto. It last played in Serie D. It has set a record in Italian football as it has been promoted 5 times in 5 years: this means they've always won their championship for the last 5 years. In Summer 2010 the club merged with A.S. San Paolo, a Promozione club based in Padua, and moved to the city to form Calcio San Paolo Padova, thus disappearing from the Italian football panorama.
In the meanwhile, CUS Calcio Padova (the University of Padua's football club) moved to Albignasego and changed their denomination to Universitaria Albignasego Calcio, also acknowledging Albignasego Calcio's history.[1]
